You’ll need to come in for a consultation with Dr. Zaidi so we can determine if you’re a good candidate for clear aligners after performing an oral exam and taking x-rays.
If you’re a suitable candidate, we will take digital impressions of your teeth and send them to a dental lab that will create your custom-fit plastic aligners.
Using advanced digital mapping software, we can plan your entire orthodontic treatment with online 3D models of your teeth. You can choose between a set amount of aligners or unlimited.
Once your aligners have been fabricated, which will take a few weeks, you’ll return to the dental office to check how they fit and will begin your treatment.
You will have routine follow-up appointments in Clarksburg to check on how your teeth are moving and to answer any questions or concerns you may have along the way. You will receive enough aligners to change them out every 2 weeks.

Your aligners should be rinsed out and stored in their proper storage case. Never let your aligners come into contact with heat, as this can cause the plastic mold to deform. Brush and floss your teeth before putting your aligners back in.
Make sure not to take them out for longer than 2 hours a day. Clear your aligners in the morning and at night with a soft-bristle toothbrush and retainer cleaning solution. You should also soak them in a retainer cleaning solution for 15 minutes a day.
Food particles can become trapped in your aligners, increasing your risk of tooth decay and staining your aligners. Always clean your aligners and your teeth before putting them back in.
